Conference in Gothenburg

We are delighted to invite you to the 8th International Storyline Conference 2022.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions in Sweden, we are sorry to inform you that the organization group has decided to change the on-site Storyline Conference in Gothenburg Sweden to a digital event. We now will offer virtual activities which can open up for more participants from all over the world.

The theme for the conference is Sustainability and Resilience.
The conference is a Multiplier Event within the Erasmus+ project Education for resilience and sustainability. The participants in the conference are experienced teachers and educators from all over the world. They will be chosen to broaden the picture of how Storyline can be developed and used to be successful regarding learning for sustainable development. We will present an update of the findings from the project and get various views from the different participants in order to develop the project further.

The key-note speakers will be the same: Sallie Harkness, Margaretha Häggström, Arjen Walls, Carol Omand, Pella Thiel and Jeff Chreswell.

The selectable programme will be changed and at the moment we are having conversations with the presenters about that. A new program will be published here on this site the first of March. We have decided to concentrate the program to Saturday and Sunday and we will start at nine o´clock Saturday 26th of March and end Sunday 27th of March at four o´clock local Swedish time.

We have send out information to all participants and presenters via e-mail with a link to a form to fill in. If you have registred for the on-site conference and not gotten that e-mail please contact info@storyline.se

Sustainability is about the ecological, social and economic challenges that humankind is facing. By resilience, we mean the ability to cope with crisis and sudden events and the ability to be happy and successful again after something negative has happened. Resilience can be applied on a number of different levels, the child, the school, the town, the municipality, the country and the world. The focus on the child can include health, relations, family, school and the wider community.
